Twenty years in energy efficiency and climate finance, across more than twenty countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe.
The work runs from national policy — appliance standards and labelling, market surveillance, fiscal instruments — to the financing that carries it: credit lines, rebate mechanisms and proposals to the Green Climate Fund and the Global Environment Facility, alongside energy audits, technical due diligence and GHG accounting. Most of it is convening work: a mechanism only exists once the ministry, the regulator, the development bank, the local banks that will lend, and the manufacturers and project developers who have to use it all accept the same design — usually with no authority over anyone in the room.
